Classes for Nov 1, Tuesday, have been shifted to Saturday, Nov 5. The test has hence been postponed till the regular tutorial hour on Nov. 5.

Postponement of Test of C-G1

Due to Co-Qube test on Oct 25, the test#4 of C-G1 is being postponed to the next week. The test will now take place on Tuesday, Nov 1, during the regular tutorial hour.

The schedule for other groups remains unchanged.

B Tech: Test#4 this week

Test# 4 is taking place this week. It was already announced in the class last week and the syllabus includes ASP, oxidation ponds and ditches and trickling filters.

Design both stand-alone and grid-connected PV systems for your respective homes. You can use the same configurational parameters for each individual component (PV module, battery, Charge controller, etc.) as discussed in the class.

The last date of assignment submission is Friday, Oct 28.

1. Discuss the authors' recommendations on increasing the fraction of RET in India's energy requirements. (Max length: 1 A4 sheet)

2. Do you agree or disagree with Authors' recommendations or any other aspect mentioned in the article? Can you suggest further recommendations to support or refute the authors' take on RET in India?  (Max length: 1 A4 sheet)


The due date is Friday, Oct 21.

B Tech: Project presentation Schedule

Groups 7 and 8 of sections B and C will make presentations on assigned topics on Thursday, Oct 20 as per the following schedule:

Lecture# 7: Sec C, Groups 7 and 8
Lecture# 8: Sec B, Groups 7 and 8

The report will also have to submitted then and there itself.
