Test#1 next week (Aug 29-Sep 2)
Test# 1 will take place during the regular tutorial sessions this coming week (Aug 29-Sep 2). Unit-I will be the syllabus for the test.
You are all required to bring your own stationary (pen, paper, etc.) and scientific calculators. Use of cellphones is banned during the test.

M Tech: RET: Assignment #1
Deadline: Sep 3, 2016
1. Figure out the following for 1 RE option (each student will select a different option):
a) The installed capacity patterns for last 3-4 decades and projected patterns for next 2-3 decades
b) Top 5 countries with maximum increase in RE option in past 2 decades and future 2 decades.
2. Figure out
a) What fraction of India’s installed capacity is delivered by Coal, Gas, Diesel, Nuclear, hydropower, Wind Power, Solar power and Bioenergy.
b) Future projected fractions (2030 & 2050)
